The pricing for Vietnam visas in 2023 varies depending on the type of visa, the processing time selected, and whether additional services are used. Here is a detailed overview:

Standard E-Visa Fee:

The standard fee for a single-entry e-visa is US$25. If you apply through a travel agency, an additional consulting fee of around $30 is usually charged. The e-visa approval letter typically takes 4-6 working days to process, excluding weekends and Vietnamese holidays. However, processing times may be extended due to a high number of applicants, so it’s advisable to apply 1-2 weeks before your departure date.

Expedited Processing Fees:

For faster processing, various expedited services are available:

  • 2 working days processing: $75
  • 1 working day processing: $95
  • 4-8 working hours: $125
  • Super urgent (2.5 working hours): $180

The costs for standard 5-7 working day processing are approximately $47.

Visa on Arrival Fees:

For visas on arrival, the fees depend on the visa type and number of applicants. The stamping fee is fixed at $25 for a single entry visa and $50 for a multiple entry visa. Payments must be made in cash (USD or VND), as credit cards might not be accepted. The service fees vary depending on the type of visa and processing speed:

  • For 1-2 people, a single 1-month visa costs $18, while a multiple 1-month visa costs $21.
  • For 10+ people, the fees are $12 for a single 1-month visa and $13 for a multiple 1-month visa.
  • For a 12-month multiple entry visa for US passport holders, the fee ranges from $35 to $50, with a stamping fee of $135.

Additional Processing Options:

Additional processing options include next-day and same-day processing, with varying fees based on the visa type:

  • For a single-entry 1-month visa, next-day processing costs $27, and same-day processing costs $37.
  • For a multi-entry 3-month visa, next-day processing is $52, and same-day processing is $62.

It’s important to note that the e-Visa cannot be extended within Vietnam. If you need to stay beyond the e-Visa’s validity, you must leave Vietnam and re-enter with a new visa.
